Beautiful Creatures is a beautifully woven southern gothic novel with realistic and relatable characters such as Ethan Wate, just your avarage teenager in a small town, wishing for an escape.

Unfortunately, there are some low points in the story where it gets depressing and the Caster world can be hard to understand, but other than that, Beautiful Creatures is a fantastic read!

At the end of the book, I was begging for the second book, which I mercifully found. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who is interested in romance or dark fantasy
