Fringe, Season 5

"Imagine The Impossibilities"

"A television drama centered around a female FBI agent who is forced to work with an institutionalized scientist in order to rationalize a brewing storm of unexplained phenomena."

Dear FOX, I don't like that you tried to cancel the best sci-fi show to date but respect that you gave it a final 13 episode series.

 -With moderate anger, Me

Yes, the end is here because of FOX but fear not! It ends big, it ends loud, it ends with a marvelous BANG!

SPOILER ALERT BELOW:
Picking up from events depicted in the fourth season's flash-forward episode, the seemingly peaceful Observers have seized control of our universe in 2015. Now, in 2036, they have become ruthless rulers who stand unopposed. What awaits in the future, however, is the Fringe Team's final stand, which will bring together all they have witnessed in preparation for the final battle to protect our world.

SPOILER ALERT OVER!

This season is an ending that no one could have seen coming. With only 13 episodes, the creators seem to take their time to end the best possible way. The 2 episode finale manages to end everything greatly and incorporating elements from the earlier seasons.

Was I sad to see it go? Yes. But the way I see it, it ended beautifully and closed on a bang rather than lasted until it's shine wore off.

FINAL VERDICT: Watch it, love it, repeat.
