Most high school classes ask for you to read this book and many people have their opinions on this book. most say it is really boring and should be read on cliff notes. I actually have to disagree and say this book is very good. Its about a bunch of boys from a school that get stranded on an island with no adults and must learn to adopt. This book has a lot of symbolism and shows what man is really like.
