This book was pretty good. She wrote another one(The Dead the Gone) which comes from the perspective of Alex. I personally like Miranda's perspective better though, because it seemed more of how a teenager would act in her situation. Also, Alex was always negative Miranda had a postive impression on life...or at least hope. Which she needs when the world is ending around her as the world ends.

So you should read this one after the dead and the gone just so you can get a set image of Alex and you can make your own judgement on the characters. Everyone should read this book, because it gives a different outlook on the way the world could end. So anyways it is a good book!!
