Eragon chronicles the tale of the titular character, a poor farmer boy who discovers a dragon egg. Eragon is thrust into a world of terror, turmoil, adventure, and magic. Throughout his journey, Eragon discovers not only more about his Empire and the legendary Dragon Riders, but his own destiny. I absolutely loved this book. I was pulled into the story on the very first page, and the characters, though in a completely different world, are relatable and believable. I especially love the magic of Eragon's world; there are so many twists, turns, and "blink-and-you'll-miss" it details, it's impossible not to fall in love with this book.
