If you enjoy language and the usage of words, then this book will offer infinite wit and wisdom. Amis is an oft-sarcastic lover of the English language, who walks us through word choice, usage, punctuation, and general rules, all the while dropping humorous tales of his life as a lover of the language. Sections on how to spell hard-to-remember foreign words(bureaucracy,anyone?) are insightful and informative. This book is delightful for those who love English.
