“It takes much bravery to stand up to our enemies but we need as much bravery to stand up to our friends.”
This book starts with an orphaned boy forced to live with his rude and obnoxious aunt and uncle. After endearing rude names and unfair treatment from his family for 11 years, Harry discovers that he is a wizard and that there is a whole world completely obsessed with him. After attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry he meets a poor ginger boy named Ron and a naturally smart "Muggle Born" named Hermonie. Along with close friends he met an enemy known as Draco Malfoy who is a spoiled "pure-blood".
While attending his first year he discovers the true story of his parents death, he faces the killer himself, and finally finds what it means to be accepted after being denied for so long by his family. J.K. Rowling brings an interesting twist to the story of witch and wizard. She keeps the reader interested and has written a story fit for all ages.
