The End Games

Rating: Loved it!
The book starts off with the author making it so that you believe that everything that the main character Michael and his little brother Patrick is going through is actually a game set up by the Game Master. However, as you go further into the book you discover the truth. The fact is that there is no game, and Michael is actually lying to his brother in order to keep him from freaking out.
Michael and Patrick faced many trials that filled me with suspense and also had me rooting for them to make it through a world where monsters exist. This book is a good example of someone trying to survive in a place where there is no hope, while also showing just how strong family ties are, and how complicated life can be when you are constantly lying even if it's for a good reason.
Moreover, The End Games, is filled with tons of suspense, conflict, love, and is a really great book to read.
