This book started off a little slow, but then it picked up and got great!!! As Clary discovers a deep family secret about her past her life will never be the same. She meets a new friend Jace and his snoppy relatives.

This book has vampires, werewolves, shadow hunters, and romance. This isn't a Twlight book with desperate werewolf who loves a pathetic girl with a creepy vampire girlfriend. It also has action, suspense, romance and for those guys that think this is a chick book your wrong!! Cassandra Clare has done a great job writing the first in a great series. Making this a must read for every person to read.
