Almost Perfect is a novel that follows two characters, Logan and Sage, and their complex relationship. Logan is recently single after his girlfriend of three years cheated on him. Sage is a beautiful new girl at his school, and Logan finds himself falling for her, until he finds out, to his dismay, that Sage is actually a boy. Not for the faint of heart, Almost Perfect is intense, odd, and often heartbreaking. The novel captures the Logan and Sage's complicated relationship perfectly and sheds a sympathetic light on the transgendered lifestyle. Definitely a novel worth checking out.
