Evermore tells the story of Ever Bloom, the sole surviving member of her family after a tragic car accident claimed the lives of her parents and little sister. Because of the accident, Ever is psychic, and can see people's "auras" and hear their thoughts. Branded a freak and trying desperately to fit in, Ever runs into Damen Auguste. Handsome, wealthy, and mysterious, Damen takes a special interest in Ever and is the only one who can supress her abilities. Though I was initially interested in Evermore, I quickly realized after reading a few pages that it was just another Twilight. Though the writing was good, I just couldn't get into a book that was basically a carbon copy of the famous vampire series. However, I recommend it for anyone who is a fan of Twilight.
