the book is AMAZING. it is both sad and interesting. I have never read a book so good. I usually go up to page 10, and never continue reading, but these kinds of books I can read all day and night.

it is about a boy name dave and cant find a home. His mother, abuses him. but one day he runs away and goes into a pizza parlor and the guy behind the counter saw him steal a quarter and told dave to return it back. Dave and the guy behind the counter started talking and dave told him his problems. the guy behind the counter called the police and dave left the police, but the guy behind the counter gave Dave a box a pizza because he saw how hungry he was. Dave went to a foster home. one day, a lay came in and talked to dave about his problems, her name was Ms.Gold. they became good friends. but one day, Dave got adopted by the Catanze family. Dave got bullied by another adopted kid named Larry. Dave became really good friend with big larry, another foster kid. one day when dave went to school, he started hanging out wit the bad kids

One of the bad kids really hated a teacher, so he made Dave burn down the class room. but when Dave tried to put out the fire a little girl saw dave and just blamed it on dave. so dave was the one who got arrested. Daves mother tried to convince the judge that Dave is a horrible child to have.
