The book, "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories" by Tim Burton is a great book to read. Its basically a short book of yet shorter stories, making it a quite easy read, taking at most minutes to read.
Like all of Tim Burton's masterpieces, this story consists of an assortment of twistedly droll passages. The meaning behind each story makes this book an interesting read. But even if the message isn't so clear, the humor more than makes up for it. Luckily, it being split into individual stories helps the story, as it would other wise be a dry read.
The great assortment of stories all range from laugh-out-loud hysterical to mild chuckle inducing. The size of the stories only help the book feel fresh and interesting. The hidden messages are also a nice surprise. I would recommend this book to insightful readers, as well as casual reader's who just want an enjoyable read.
